seriously had enough of this shit now!

came back from a three week holiday and went to start my car but there was nothing i assumed the battery had gone flat which is abit odd for it to go flat in only 3weeks, so i jump started it and it ran fine left it runiing for 10mins then turned it off and it now wont start again!

this car is going to the scrap yard very shortly as im sick of the heap of shit but can anyone tell me what the problem, why it can only start by being jump started? i no the engine runs perfectly as its only covered 5,000 miles and hasnt missed a beat, so is it started motor or what?

and anyone who is wanting any parts drop me a pm and check out my build thread for list of parts

thanks for any help

if the battery is fucked take it back to where you bought it from, most batterys carry a minimum of 1 year warranty, probably is not knackered though, as said above take it for a blast and it should be fine.

if the alternator was knackered it would not have run for ten minuites as the car will use the charge off the battery to run the engine and been as it is dead the car would not have run for long at all.

my battery lasts around 3 days without use before it goes flat and the car wont start.i jump it go for a drive and everything is fine and dandy.

Mate it's probably nothing!

I leave both EPs on the drive while I'm away at uni, Got back after 2 months, NA battery had died. Jump started, took it for a 10 min drive to get some petrol, wouldn't start. Gave the starter motor a tap with my wheel brace, juimp started again, took it for a good 30 minute drive on the motorway. Started everyday for a week fine! It's just the cold weather would have affected the battery, and a short drive won't charge it enough!
