TrisK
anyone every tried something like this:http://www.vikash.info/fto/auto_mirror/autolock.aspto make the mirrors automatically fold in when you central lock?
Socks
this could be done im sure, but you'd need an aftermarket alarm id think..
lukEp
Some glanzas do this already Idrees one did before he messed about with the mirrors
TrisK
why would you need an after market alarm? im sure you could find the wire going to the ecu. hopefully.I already have remote central locking....
lukEp
There won't be a wire to the ecu it will just be a signal from the central locking to the mirror switch to say the cars been locked fold the mirrors in. I'm sure it will be a different mirror switch because the one on mine works off analogue where as I bet Idrees has a digital switch.
Socks
was this an optional extra then!?
Glanza_cl
I didn't think they did automatically... i mean there is the little switch you can push to fold them in but never herd of them closing on closure/lock as standard?
lukEp
Idrees mirrors folded in when he locked his door with the key they folded out when he unlocked the door with the key.
lukEp
Maybe Phil will know if it was an optional extra?
TrisK
See I'm thinking as per my link you could do it with relays and wireIf it was an option even better, we can rep the official part. Or if we can get a part #
