difference between uk spec starlet sr and jdm spec starlet s

took this tonight coming back from falkirk cruise, both on the same gear pull

just a wee vid showing the difference between the 100ps lighter ep82 na vs the uk spec starlet sr,

Falkirk cruise was good. Enzo's car is much faster than mine.

I topped at 110mph which aint that bad.

"uk spec toyota starlet sr 4efe 1.3 (78bhp) up against a jdm starlet ep82 s 4efe 1.3 (100bhp)

the starlet s is stripped and weighs 770kgs

the starlet sr weighs 950kgs in full trim

both share the same block, cams etc,

the jdm starlet has a larger tb, larger inlet manifold aswell as a 7k redline,

the na starlet has a smaller tb, and inlet plenium + the redlines at 6.5k"

Mine is standard apart from gt seats in it. Enzo has gutted most of the rear. It was in 3rd gear from 50mph.

not quite, it was at 770kgs, but stripped the ac today though, that m ade a noticable difference, it must be close to 750kgs now,

want to get it as close to 700-720kgs so next is all the sound deadening + power stearing.
