Idrees Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Hi guys,Does anyone know of a 4E running a dual-runner Acis inlet manifold? Any links or information?Idrees Quote
Sanchez Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Its not straight forward mate, i beleive you need some sort of switch that changes the way the runners work. Can be done using an EMU, as i had looked into it a while ago but never went ahead as i could'nt find anyone that would set it up.Riko is the man to speak to though mate, he gave me alot of info when i was looking into it Quote
Gtstu Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 theres a guide on the au starlet forum and it should have more gains than a custom one Quote
joel_ep91 Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 if i could get one of these manifolds would love to try it on 4efe with raised rev limit Quote
SiCaln Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Rick did this on the 5e mate, he may be able to shed some light on what was needed Quote
Idrees Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 Thanks for the info guys, I decided against the idea now. Quote
nastyrash 2003 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 now we talking boys a veriable leneght manifold is the future. Quote
redz11 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 if only i could afford it, you would be fitting it to my S chris what are the potential gains? would it need any sort of engine management? Quote
nastyrash 2003 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 i recon i could get 1 working by just using a vac line and diaphram, and yep lee all modern car proformace or not use manifolds like these. give a much even torque range from standing all the way to the moon. has simler affects to vetec just not as aggresize Quote
