TrisK
just a hinge n spring to lift it at a stand still but yea soon as police looked at your plate they would see u done it on purpose n fuck yaI was just thinking about how id put a spring in it.I could probably tension it enough, to only fold down at like 20mph. as below that intercooler doesnt need that much air
_shaun_
can picture how to do it but cant think how to explain it lol bascily with the hide at 90degrees id want the spring at 45degrees between both sides if that makes sense then pick the right spring tension for the speed u want and weld or screw the spring on both sidesother easyer way would be to put the hinge on the top of the plate so when u drive it would rise up and when u stoped gravity would bring it back down again
Giggz
Can see you getting buttfucked if police caught you with it
TrisK
Can see you getting buttfucked if police caught you with it would be just a fix and produceor at worst a 30 quid fine for having an 'incorrect or insecure number plate'
TrisK
Perverting the course of JusticeAnd anything they find after going over your car with a fine tooth comb.FOr perverting the course of justice, surely they would have to prove that you did it with the intention of stopping police from seeing your platenot for more air to your cooler
Dan507
I dont see how its illegal, its still there it just tilts abit. i've seen worse
Nanglebadger
more air to your cooler will not hold up in court anywhere near as well as a charge of perverting the course of justice. you'd need the world's biggest petrol head of a judge to fly that one.i can see the point, but it'd be better to just relocate the plate.Phil. TrisK
I dont see how its illegal, its still there it just tilts abit. i've seen worseThis is what i was thinking. but i dont know.guess it depends how much it tilts.but then i guess teh argument is if it doesnt tilt much then there is no point in having it
series70boy
in my oppinion it shouldnt be a problem, it only folds back to about the same angle as those stick on reg plates that people put on the bonnets of mx-5's.and the ones on mx-5's cant be read by plate scanners either so as long as its there and on sho there should be no problem.but thats just what i think
