Amjad
Just wanted to know how to mount the AC fan to a Civic Alloy rad. And also how does it run, does it use the same plug as the normal fan (can't for the life of me remember!)ThanksAmjad
GTnomez
Why not just use the normal rad fan? Or is it too thick?
TrisK
Why not just use the normal rad fan? Or is it too thick?cause its a double size one, and it doesnt bolt up to the civic rad.im just using a second hand one from a dseries (single cam) tec, the plug isnt the same, but the colours of the wires are, so just snip and connect and it will all work ;)it is quite close to the gearbox, but there is enough room

rorenapier
Yes they do work, but not over a long period of time...The wieight of the fan will eventually tear the fins out of the rad Best thing to do is make up some simple tab brackets and mount it.the fan fittings kits u buy are basically tie raps with washers... u could do the same thing!Shud work fine ;)
