TrisK Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 I am going to see a bloke about buying a JAM manifold from him?How can you identify that it is really a JAM one, whilst it is still on the car?Any stamps/marks on it?Thanks Quote

TrisK Posted June 1, 2011 Author Posted June 1, 2011 no, JAM manfold retains the heat shield :/ or so i was lead to belive Quote
whiteglanzav Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 yer your right mate it still has the bolt holes ! Quote
TrisK Posted June 1, 2011 Author Posted June 1, 2011 i read somewhere, that on the standard mani there is holes between all the runners, and on the JAM on the 3/4 runners are joined with just a dip between them, is this correct? Quote
nastyrash 2003 Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 the jam runners are larger, but the main noticable difference is the collector pipe before the turbo has a extra plate after the 4-1 port, splitting the single port to 2. its only about 1 inch deep and sits on top of the cross shape 4 port collector. if that makes sence. it sit flush with the turbo flang.hope this makes sence. looks completey diff to the standard.chris Quote
DavidAshton Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 The ONLY noticable difference whlist it is still on a car is that it DOESN'T have any numbers cast onto it like the stock manifold has across the first runner. Quote
aidanep71 Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 if u hav acess to a standard 1 bring it with ya and compare Quote
