5T4R7ET N/A
have a look in the for sale section. There mite be some ct9 manifold going.was you toyosports mani mild steel or stainless?
mark-tozer
are standard ones strong ported as ive got a standard one i can put on. the toyosport one ive got is stainless.
tez
for the money, a standard ported will do the same job as wepr, this is in my opinion and few members on tgtt.Cast iron is less likely to crack, than mild steel and espically stainless.hense why the standard one which is ported is the best option.theres people on tgtt done 40k+ on there standard ported manis at 1 bar so safe enough.dont get me wrong, a better option is wepr mild steel/equiv but for the money how better is it than the standard one? philpott
how do people with porting skills that are non existent go about getting theres done because im in desperate need of porting or an uprated mani..
tez
its not exactly skilled work. i did mine fairly easily, took a while mind.grinding stone & drilland grind away the area needed, take time and caution.
mark-tozer
Ok thanks for advice i will try a stanard one and port it myself ad ive got the standard one it wont cost me anything whats the most power someone has had out of a standard manifold before it cracks cheers
Glanza_cl
Ported standard mani will surfice for moderate boost levels i.e 0.8bar but imo even when ported limits the flow. Zisco or racetech would obviously be superior but if you are just going to stay on the standard ct9 and run standard boost levels (below fuel cut) a properly ported stock mani will do .Also its not about how much power before it cracks its about how limited the flow becomes through the small, short runners thats becomes an issue when hunting power figures. N80Jamie
Was looking for £200 but I've snapped 2 screws while separating it from the turbo so £190 now and it will keep the turbo in the same place yes.
