Raz Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I wanted to get LED reverse ones and cannot find them anywhere. :S Would like to know aswell. Quote
raffa_mk Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 the fitting looks similar to the side lights that are used at the front headlights??? have a look at the power rating as this shows 8w and just swap them over and see if it works, worth a try? then you can just buy some led or smd ones Quote
shelly_star Posted August 2, 2011 Author Posted August 2, 2011 its about 2 times bigger than the sidelights Quote

shelly_star Posted August 2, 2011 Author Posted August 2, 2011 just added a photo of it against the sidelight Quote
TrisK Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 i think its a t5 921.anyone confirm?or this81670B BULB(FOR BACK-UP LAMP)90981‑11039 12V 16W 2 $5.10is the official number from toyota Quote
raffa_mk Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 its the fitting that i am looking at, just put the side light bulb in and put the car in reverse gear and leave it on for 2 mins to see if it works and doesn't blow the bulb, it doesn't matter about the physical size and shape of the outer bulb, so if it works then you can just get a better and brighter LED/SMD bulb. its about 2 times bigger than the sidelights Quote
Asad Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 The yaris uses them but as a brake light version, may help you find what they are?http://www.austinarts.org/p-wedge-bulbs-w16w-t15-948469.htmlthats the one you need i think? Quote
