Turkish91
Just thought I would throw a few pics up of my bro's car! He's not too computer literate, and I dont think he even knows what a forum is lolI found this for him back in January, got it for a pretty decent price with 12 months MOT and 6 months Tax. Needed a few things doing but I gave it a full service the day he got it back and its been absolutely golden with no issues what so ever despite being on about 112k now. Needs the cambelt doing as well, last one was done like 3 years ago on about 70k He's just saving up atm to get it done.Few pics from the day we picked it up - still got the original TTE exhaust, pretty much rust free and Speedlines are all in decent nick too![imghttp://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/180580_10150135223110664_566975663_8382483_1504319_n.jpgPretty much all the modding has been done by me so far. Bought him some plates for his bday in May, only fitted them about 3 weeks ago... oops! But I think he's caught the bug and has a few more plans for it now. Tried some Rota Slips on the car but he didnt want them, and instead I've refurbed his Speedlines in Ford Graphite Grey In my view the Slips would of looked the absolute don if he just lowered it about another 20mm or so! The stance was perfect and they sit bang flush on the arch line! But he doesnt want to lower it any further so he decided to go back to the Speedlines, which now they're painted tbh I think they look just as good as the Slips! Done them in about 3hrs flat lol really chuffed with how they have come out considering how quickly I did themAnd with them back on the car, after a mega cleaning sesh too. My bro is a lazy shit and has probably washed it about 4 times himself since he bought it, Im always cleaning it for him and yesterday took the polish to it as there was some nasty trails all over the drivers side! Used the clay bar as well, amazing how well it has come out Next up is clear side repeaters and front lenses, and then remove the gay side strips! Then just clean clean clean and get it looking even tidier! The TTE exhaust has come up quite well, but a bit more elbow grease should have it looking brand new! Might get the rear bumper repainted too as there is a few scratches where it looks like a previous owner has reversed into something. The polish up yesterday has unfortunately made them stand out a lot more Comments and criticisms welcome folks!

Billy SR
Tidy sr! If only I had a TTE and not a remus, what did you clean your exhaust with?
Turkish91
Yeah shame about the Slips, I said if he lowered it on coilies it would of looked insane but he doesnt wanna do it!Cleaned the exhaust quickly with a clay bar mate, but wire wool is what you want to use first ideally but I didnt have any left! Turkish91
Update time!Just ordered a set of PI lowering springs as my brother managed to do the same as me this afternoon - snapped the front right spring... Doh!Also getting cambelt done, track rod ends, droplinks, ARB bushes, discs, pads, front tyres and a full service! New radiator as well... over £500 worth of work all in! Should make one hell of a difference though
