morgey Posted August 15, 2011 Share Posted August 15, 2011 word of warning with the VVTL-I engines the oil pumps are SHIT I've looked into it and most people fit a toda or similar oil pump for £400 just for the gears then you have the fun of fitting them, not sure if this was changed in later models but even lotus use the toda oil pump in their cars.and yeah the vvt-i engines do use a bit of oil but other than that their ok, oh and early yaris's have crap flywheels apparently :/ Quote Link to post Share on other sites
