daz gt turbz
ber with elephant and admiral if you want to pay monthly the fees they add on are a joke. i got my gt at 18 and was quoted 1300 by elephant and i hand no ncb so thought spot on and went and bought it, handed over the cash, pulled out the garage and rung elephant to start the policy. she asked how i wanted to pay and i said monthly, the women goes "theres a small monthly fee added on", i thought no worries £100 tops. got to the end and she goes so the final total is £2050 but by this time id bought the car and had to get it home so had to take it.at that time i was just and appretice earing next to fuck all so that stung for the 1st year!!so just keep quotes from elephant and admiral in mind that they are ALOT more than they say if you need to pay monthly! Rick
Try some of the specialist companies that the Evo and Scooby guys use. Try Keith Michaels and speak to Gary Moulson, he might be able to help you.I remember getting my quote from him for the Evo and I was expecting a real raping due to the amount of mods. Basically Gary just said "just put anything you like on and then list it on the form, we also replace mods like for like. As long as you don't go over 400 bhp do what you like". That was a very refreshing experience lol!!! I was paying £640 fully comp with business use on the Evo, I am ancient though lol!! I did cover my gt with them for a fee months as well which was about £400 fully comp with all mods declared.
Glanza_cl
Rick you have to be 25 with those guys... i'm 23 and tried as they have great policies but said i was still to young.Either way insurance on these is a joke now! back when i had mine i payed £700 at 18/19.also any online quote you get doesn't mean shit, soon as you ring them up they get a few more details then flog you off and say no we cant insure you or raise the price ten fold.Do what everyone else has done... wait, unless you minted just bide your time till its affordable. Keri-WMS
I normally get a quote off compare the meeeeeeeerkat .com, then ring Flux up and say "beat this". They say "we need proof" so I just give the person on the phone the login/password I used with the Meerkats and leave them to it!
scottyb
i was £700 last year with elephant, 19yo, fully comp with 3 points. prices shot up this year and the lowest i could get was £1200 tpft with s.k.y
