Georgie
Hey guys. I've got the tong gt spec b turbo, unfortunately the oil seals have gone. Just wondered if anyone knew of any places that would replace them, every place I've rung so far has said "you will have to send it to us to see if we can do it" and to be honest I don't really want to send it somewhere for it to be stripped and them say we can't. Don't want to buy a new turbo either as I like this one Thanks
Socks
how old is it?problem is being a hybrid or a custom turbo, the seals will be different to a factory ct9...so good luck but you may struggle!

Socks
PM Ricky@race-tech there is a thread about re-sealing in his section on here!
shorty
Or pm enzo, im sure he can supply seals if u needed. And any turbo place should be able to replace them, the likleyness of a turbo specialist like say turbotechnics not being ably to fix it is very very very slim!! Be a rubish turbo specialist otherwise.

TrisK
who told you it was unfixable?
Socks
the problem is... its a custom turbo.... the seals arent just avaliable off the shelf... even the seals for a ct9 have to be gotten from overseas....which is the problem! non of the big companies can do a stock ct9... shorty
Lmao who told you that? Theres a fair few lads down this way with rebuilt ct9's and hybridised ct9's made and repaired by the bigger companies. Why would a bigger company offer all the different turbo service and repairs and then go leave out one of the toyota ct range?? Would be like doing all ihi subaru turbos but not the td04. Ricky may be able to do them but he isnt the only company buy a long shot. I've spoken to alot of turbo companies over the years and you would be suprised on the things they can offer on ct9's
TrisK
yea, you might not be able to oder hybrid ct9 sealsbut you can measure it and order the seal. there is no way it wont be fixable at all.
Socks
turbo dynamics and turbotechnics... i no for a fact cant do them....Liam D's company cant either who he works for... who do work for technics...,the ct9 is nothing like the rest of the ct range and it was the only turbo that wasnt bolted to a car sold in the uk...
