Starbuck Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 When running off the spring (TIAL EWG) the car will boost fine with no issues. However when i turn on my Profec spec 2 and floor it, under low and high boost settings i get a stuttering. Under Low boost it starts about .7bar but will eventually (sort of) clear the stutter and get to the low setting of .8bar.Under High boost it hits .7bar but won't clear the stutter and get to its setting of 1bar.I'm running Emanage Blue and have only started getting this in the last couple of months. Not the clutch as ive just had one fitted.Any Ideas??? Thanks Quote
madmax_926 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 try changing your leads/plugs/dizzy i had similar issue with my car and was the leads check for water in plug wells Quote
Starbuck Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 Noted. CheersAny other suggestions? Quote
Socks Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 sounds like fueling... remember. if your emanage is mapped to 0.7bar if u turn it up on controller to 1bar. it'll underfuel... and run lean. vice versa. if its mapped to 1.0bar and you run at 0.7bar it'll be over fueling...? Quote
TrisK Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 spark plug gap, standard is 1.1mmanything over the standard boost and youll need to reduce that to like 0.8 Quote
Starbuck Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 The blue was mapped at 1 bar IIRC. But ive been running it since Japfest 1 with no issues on both settings of the boost controller 0.7 and 1 bar. The Plugs were changed earlier in the year as well again with no issues. Its only been happening in the last month?? Quote

Socks Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 hhmm. yeh try ignition side of things...see if unplugging your lambda makes it worse... Quote
Starbuck Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Changed the dizzy and rigor. Still doing it after fitting..... So thinking about the boost solenoid as mentioned before I checked the vac lines and adjusted one dubious looking bend. Boosted it to work this morning and it hit .8 no probs..... Tried 1 bar and it reached it better than before but still with judder. Adjusting the bends a bit more, so ill know tonight if it was relocating the solenoid that caused it..... Quote
