Decat, but...

Hey, i decided to decat my gt turbo, with a toyosport decat, installed it and there isnt any extra noise then before im not sure cause when i removed the old downpipe, it had Blitz on it so i dont know if its already a decat, it pops rarely, and its not really loud

Do i need a mani to get my car poppin!? cause thats half the reason i wanted a decat ,but abit unsure atm!

sounds like it was already decatted.

you want to get a manifold, and heat wrap your decat and manifold really tightly

yes sounds to me like you certainly already had it decatted if the downpipe is blitz! i would put the blitz one back on lol

they seem exactly the same lol toyosports looks nicer blitz is all manky and horrible

keep the blitz, it will like never ever break being made of cast iron or w/e

as everyone else says mate, blitz ce-cats are the best you can probably buy for a ct9 and will never crack

manifold adds hardly anything with regards to noise, im pretty sure its down to the pipe and backbox mate! any ideas on what exhaust you have?

get a pic of the blitz up mate if it is a blitz de cat id take the toyo one off and use the blitz mutch better if it pops im sure its cause its over fueling which isnt good do you have a standard manifold on it if so id just port that one get the restriction out of runner 2 + 3 :-D

Get your exhaust and downpipe heatwrapped, that'll give you lots of popping and the occasional flame

if its any sort of aftermarket exhaust, have a look on the backbox! the makers usually print a little tag on there

Just had a look at what backbox it is, i cant read the writing on the backbox lol, it says : SILENCER then under it says has some signature which is like in italics i think it begins with an A or a H? cant read it i feel stupid any ideas ?
