Bump!!

Just a picture of some more parts lying around here!

imag0115s.jpg

I'm almost ready to order a TD12 ultimate Hybrid turbo, I think that will be the last piece of the puzzle.

Can't wait :)

Also the Glanza will be at a welder first weekend of February for it's custom FMIC piping, header adjustement (ext. wastegate) and a custom intake.

Still in doubt what to sell, the RAYS Cal Choppy or the WEDSports.....

Cheers!

Thanks Idrees, I personally prefer the 5-star look instead of multispoked wheels.

Although the WEDS looked good on it aswell, they have been sold and will be fitted on a red replica Glanza V.

They will look even better on that one I think :D!

Question;

Will I constantly hit fuelcut with my current setup when the fmic kit has been completely installed?

The boost restriction has been removed.

Glanza has a stock turbo, stock cat/downpipe, stock midpipe and a trd backbox.

Also it has a sard bov.

I have no fcd since i'm going to use an emb in the near future.

It's boosting .78 - .83 bar atm, sometimes peaks into fuelcut when launching in first gear.

Things that'll change are the fmic kit and a shorter intake with apexi filter.

Will it be hitting fuelcut more often/frequently even if I drive it normal?

Got some up to date pics from a meeting here in Holland last sunday!

Also installed a 3" QSP green 6-point harness, JapSpeed catback, removed rear interior and installed my ZEP(?) C-pillar bar.

I decided to go TD04L so I bought this Zisco TD-series pack from James CJ-performance.

426399_3443757697009_1362610260_3359127_1263717658_n.jpg

Also found a used 2006 WRX TD04L turbo in Belgium which is on it's way as we speak.

This combined with some gaskets and an oil feed from TuningDevelopments and all of my other parts should make it work properly.

The aim is still about 200bhp and as much as torque possible since I'm not planning to build a forged 4efte (yet)

So everything is on it's way and I hope to start modding in about a week or 2.

I took the time to test my new camera last weekend.

So I got in the glanza and headed for IJmuiden, some of you might have heard of that town since its the port from which the ferry to Newcastle leaves.

There is this one way road trough the dunes which me and my mates call the IJmuiden touge, lots of great curves and hills.

During the week its always abandoned so its a great spot to test new suspension mods but in the weekend its always crowded since there is a restaurant on top of the dune.

Anyway, I put the glanza in a corner where no other cars were parked that moment and here is the outcome!

Some minor updates aswell:

Fixed the fuelcap, the spring which pops open the fuelcap was broken so I replaced it.

Deleted the rear widow wiper motor and bung to block off the hole.

Installed a stock ecu, car runs smoothly now.

Enjoy!

Just an update!

My clutch decided to fail on me so I need to install a new clutch, but before I do that I wanted to start working on the car's engine.

I've been working just a couple of hours after work for about each day of this week and this is what I have achieved untill now:

-Removed complete Airco system including pump.

-Removed complete TMIC system.

-Removed throttlebody for cleaning.

-Removed complete air intake system.

-Removed manifold, turbo and downpipe.

-Removed front bumper for easy acces.

-Removed radiator and fan.

-Unbolted the powersteering pump for easy acces.

-Cleaned throttle body, was really very greasy.

To do:

-Check turbo for failure.

-Replace gaskets (block to manifold, manifold to turbo, turbo to downpipe, downpipe to exhaust, inlet to throttlebody and the coolant(?) part of the throttlebody gasket.)

-Test fit FMIC.

-Install new aftermarket manifold.

-Fabricate and test fit new intake with Apexi filter.

-Clean engine bay.

-Install throttlebody (when new gaskets arrive)

-Adjust rockercover for oil catch can.

-Spray rockercover.

-Install electronic boost controller.

-Install AEM wideband lambda.

-Install oil pressure and oil temperature gauges.

-Install fuel pressure regulator.

-Install half size aluminum radiator with slim fan.

-Have the clutch (stage2) installed.

I think I missed some things in the lists but still, here are a few pictures:

imag0327q.jpg

imag0329kq.jpg

This is just a couple of hours work and I have no garage or whatso-ever, that's why I need to remove alot of parts just to be able to reach some bolts and nuts.

Cheers,

Jurriën

Glanza has new MOT.

Fixed a few things to pass tho..

New clutch,

New brakepads both front and rear.

New wheel bearings on the rear.

Installed an aftermarket header, which cracked 2 days later lol.

Going to have it welded up this week, not just the crack but every single inch of weld on the header.

Have still alot of things to do, but first things first.

Going to add some more boost to the ct9 and have some fun driving around.

Few recent pics from end of season meeting here in Holland.

So I got my header welded up, it's better and stronger than ever.

img20121130wa0011.jpgimg20121130wa0010.jpg

img20121130wa0012.jpg

It's welded from the inside aswell, which makes it alot stronger.

My power steering or alternator belt is screeching so need to tighten it up a bit, when that's fixed it runs perfect again! :D
