jezza
My latest purchase is to blame for my lack of appearance on here recently.Picked up a 1998 Altezza RS200 Yamaha Beams 6-speed manual at the start of November. I wasn't intending on buying one but couldn't resist at the price!Only mods to date are a Blitz SUS induction kit and aftermarket clutch with billet flywheel. Not quite a minter but has potential....So far I've replaced the in tank fuel filter, plugs, thermostat and power steering pump. More recently the bugger developed a leak in the rad core so had to hunt around for a replacement.Need to get it on a rolling road to see if its running at the procalimed 210bhp. I think not as the idle is a bit lumpy at times but maybe it's just me adjusting to a NA again! Pretty gutless up to 4.5K then VVTI kicks in and it's off to catch the 8K redline. The plan is to get it running sweet and tidying up the rough edges. I hope to eventually spend some time developing some parts for them as there seems to be a lack of UK developed tuning mods. Oh, and most importantly, get some drift action on the go!Here's a few pics as I bought it...

jezza
Keeping my eyes out for a nice set of JDM rims. Most likely in black. My shopping list is ever growing but need to resist temptations and get all the niggles sorted.I'm happy with the back end (minus a stainless exhaust) but needs a replacement front bumper and front fogs.
