HBlades
I thought it was about time I slapped together a build thread for my ep82 on here. Im always on here and have been a member for a while, but i dont write many posts.Anyway I got my 1994 toyota starlet gt turbo back in july. Its my first car so its kind of a on going project. What it looked like when I got itIt had grooved front discs with ebc yellow stuff pads, Hks super dragger exhaust, 14" horrible alloys. Other than that it was completely standard.I love the quad lamps so first thing I done was bought some and fit them. Few pictures of it in progressWhen it was doneI got the new quadlamps wired in so that the main beam lights come on when dipped beam is still on, so I have a good main beam. They had to be relayed and fused, it turn't out to be a bit of a job to work it out but it got there in the end and now they work perfect.About a month down the line the clutch started slipping, so I bought a new exedy replacemeant clutch. When I was doing the clutchGearbox out Old friction plate All done and working After this was done i found a few bits for sale that i quickly snapped up which included; trd ht leads in red, dumpvalve unknown make, jd tuning engine torque damper, blue light weight p/s pulley (not fitted yet) and a oil breather filter. The interior of the car was starting to feel dull so i thought change the seats. I found some old rs cosworth recaros with ep82 rails on them so thought why not, put these in and then some other blue cobra monaco seats came up with some trs harnesses and the price was cheap so i couldnt resist. fitting the new seatsSorry about the state of the car (it needed a clean hah)Both in with harnessesLove these seats now .Now today I picked up a cheap set of alloys to get rid of the 14" ones. After I had cleaned them:Just need to get some tyres and put them on. I will be getting a proper spec list up of how I am going to be wanting and making the car. But as I said its my first car and is a on going project for me. So hopefully some more updates soon .

HBlades
7200 for insurance fucking hell I'd rather not driveHah. It's Absolutally ridiculous but either way it was going to be a rip off. Doesn't help how I'm in the motor trade as they put it up a little bit . Oh well the damage is done now, on the bright side I love owning a gt .

But next year it should be reasonable. I hope hah.

I know the insurance is stupid, probably worked out cheaper than buying say a 1.25 fiesta or something as I got the gt cheap. Just under 3k for a rx8 is cheap in my eyes well if you have the money. But thanks for the comments guys .
