Amjad
Just to mark up the holes where the car sits level
akyakapotter
so its best to mark it with the car on the deck ?
Amjad
That's how I did it yeah, not sure how everybody else goes about doing it but I thought if you did it on a ramp and marked it with the ARB extended more it won't have as much of an effect? Or am I wrong here? There's a guide somewhere on TGTT I think
WallaceGlanza
You can sit it on axle stands then use a trolley jack to bring the beam upto the height your car normally sits at - then you can still get under it.

rob_bower
I believe there most effective when there perpendicular the the rear beam also be weary where you put your brackets as I drilled through my exhaust mount! Some people put a plate on the back side of the cassis arm to stop you from tightening the bots and squashing the chassis.
akyakapotter
I'm glad you said about the exhaust mount I'd have ended up doing the same hope I feel a difference from fitting it :-D
