Standard engine hitting fuel cut

Recommended Posts

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi/Lo boost solenoid has been removed and got a FMIC thats it.

When first fitted engine the car seemed to boost to 0.6 Bar fine and Hold it.

Fitted a CAT for MOT would this make any difference?

Thanks

will be a combination of FMIC and front mounted airfilter mate, buy an adjustable actuator and turn it down a bit

it wont work trying to turn it down with a boost controller unfortunately

Ive got one in the garage .... BUT ive misplaced the spinny onny bit so technically only got half of it.

Do you think if i remove the last silicone elbow and face the filter face on itll restrict the air flow a little ??

As mentioned on FB, restrict the air intake and it'll help cure the creep. If you can find a piece of foam, cable tie that over the filter. Or re-fit the original turbo intake pipe?

I can tell you right now the problem easy

1) front mounted air filter

2) front mount intercooler

2 classic nods to cause boost creep

Solution: plug n play ecu and a rob spec turbo or get Ricky lee to mod your standard turbo to handle it :)
