Stefan_s
hi, i have a balieys dump valve and ive been told they have a reputation for starting to leak or something, i was just wondering if this could have happened to mine because when my turbo boosts i hear a hissing noise which is quite loud and dissapears when i lift off and the dumpvalve releases the pressure, my mechanic freind checked all the boost pipes and couldnt find anything else that could be leaking so think it could be this, anyone have any advice?thanks Stefan
Ryan-11
could be, try blocking off the dumpvalve and see it it stops

H_D
crap unless if you replace the plastic piston inside with a metal one which can hold thicker rubber seals and also change the spring to a stiffer one.
