Is chassis number same as frame number?

Hey everyone. Sorry to sound like a dumb ass but where is my chassis number?

I looked on the metal plate in the bay and all I have is

Model:

Engine:

Frame no:

Colour Trim GVM(kg)

Trans/axle

Plant/Built

Carname

Someone wants my chassis number to see if he can get me some parts. And this isn't for a starlet. It's for my imported bb

So is chassis number same as frame number?

Your frame number is what they need. Not your model number. My frame is EP91-****643 that's what I use for parts etc :)

I guess if somebody had a cut and shit they could use your number?

But really I can't think of a good reason

Basically that mate yeah, I dunno if anyone would but you can never be too careful, its just what I was told before because you never know who looks on here, didn't mean to sound a dick lol.
