ilghap Posted July 7, 2012 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Hi guys.I need someone who knows about LEDsI know nothing about leds. so I would need some help.I want to replace some of the dash bulbs on my dash to LEDs. At the moment I see little light bilbs with a green nipples on it.I want to replace them with a White LED but I am unsure which ones I need.However I have managed to find a little info but I am still unsure which ones I need. (reading from japan auction) they are saying something about T3-1 and T4.2 do these sound right?Any good place to buy these from? found 1 on ebay from ireland but seems to be quite expensive.....unless thats the going rate? Nanglebadger Posted July 8, 2012 Share Posted July 8, 2012 be careful with LEDs in the dash cluster.you seen the green plastic circuit board on the back of the cluster? it has copper strands between all the bulbs. when i put LEDs in they melted those copper strands. daniel_g Posted February 4, 2013 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Dont know what T size they are but there are 12 or 13 little ones, depending if you have ABS or not, 1 slighty bigger for the fuel gauge and 3 big 501 bulbs.
