Guest Enzo Posted June 12, 2007 Share Posted June 12, 2007 they are Hi Intensity Discharge lampsyou need specail ignitere balasts that ignite the specail gas within the filament wwith 20 thousand volts.sort of like a sodium light.give a much brighter spread of light.
