My french scrap

Hey, jus thought id throw up a few pics of my old clio which as far as i know is owned by a guy in Ballymena

Most of u may not like it but i dont care really lol

it may be french but plz forgive me i was young and senseless back then

so here goes...

Early days when i 1st got the clio, ordered a bodykit off da net...

The rear bumper wudnt fit so i sold up and bought another one, no pics thou lol

Attempted fitting the kit and said to myself this was going to be harder than i expected...

started flushing my bootlid...

Finally after persuading my cuzin to give me a hand on getting the kit and bodywork finished for

paint she was ready within a few weeks...

After painting i was v.proud of what i achieved with the clio, when i look at the pics i remember all the days sanding

the b*tch down gettin every little mark just perfect as the respray was too pricey to make any mistakes lol

And heres the result...

I Personally am not into these sort of cars but you have made one hell of an effort here mate.

I can appreciate the hard work into getting it looking as spot on as it looks.

I prefer the first bumper you put on the front of it.

i hadnt had a drivin lesson when i bought the car

i know i did aswell, but i had a little accident when sum knob drove out in front of me

so i searched in need of another bumper just to do for sale

and this bumper came to me at a good price

Well, looks like you had an awesome little project there. As long as you liked the overall result (at the time!!) then its all good

How much did the respray cost?

I was expecting it to be sprayed that horrid purple colour ;)

How much did the respray cost?

The respray cost me £1000 ... lol i no, silly little boy

I liked the front bumper aswell but fibreglass just crumbles to pieces even at a 10mph impact

shelly thanks for the comment, yes ive done things abit differently for the starlet keeping it simple, as i said

to myself after a got rid of the clio never to fully bodykit another car again, such a waste of money and they are such a pain

oh and sparky, i have a thing for white cars i just have to have it in white wotever it is lol

Your clio was pretty sweet with the first bumper on it.

I've always liked them shape clios! And with the first bumper on it, it would prob be something like I would have looked to do with it.

spent thousands on the bloody thing n i sold it in Feb 07 for jus £540... lol

thats y i wud never do it again, ya never get your money bk

like i cud of had a nice glanza or gt for the money i spent on it
