Self cancelling Indicators with aftermarket wheel?

I've installed my new wheel and boss kit, got the horn working and airbag light to go out, but the indicators don't self cancel, is there something I've missed at all?

There should be a wee nubbin that sticks out the back of the wheel and slots into a notch on a plastic ring on the steering column, it does the self cancelling.

its the other way around, theres a white ring with 2 stubs on it that sits on the steering column, which should go into 2 holes on the back of the boss kit

Ah right, well I've got that ring but I must have misaligned it as it doesn't seem to cancel them at the moment but there is 3 holes on the back of the boss yeah, will have a look when I'm

Right this is annoying lol

Firstly, how do I make the horn work, as in I can get it to work off the button but it keeps snapping the wire, what can I use that won't snap when turning?

Also, the holes on the boss don't line up with the pins on the little indicator ring thing.

Mine self canceling indicators arent working for over a year and i have a toyota steering wheel on my glanza.

But it issent a original steering wheel because the wheel dosent have a airbag

Tried a few options but nothing so intressed in this to.

For the horn... Do you have only a few wires thats wined up or a ring connected to the wires?

Just the wires for the horn mate, need something that doesnt tangle

@ A L 3 X : I got a ring from a EP8 non airbag steeringwheel and got it connected to the wires from the horn and its working for a good half year now

i had this very problem.

with the indicators, i just left them be and I cancel them myself.

with the horn, i priced up EP91 specific boss kits, and they were a clean fortune. In the end I bought an after market horn button from demon tweeks and relocated it.

But it was a royal ball ache finding all that shit out lol.

I seem to have solved it, it now cancels and the horn seems to work ok, glad I didn't need to shell out for an expensive boss kit.

If anyone wants some help on how to do it let me know

Sparco wheel hub for a Celica, modified to fit a Starlet NA, LHD with airbag. Horn and indicators works fine.

Looks completely different to mine mate, mine does work now though, out of interest, wat make boss is that as it looks fatter than mine, i had to make a black plastic trim piece to cover the gap with my boss

Its a Sparco. Ordered to a celica. Have the box in the basement, so i can get the right number, if someone want it.

Just checked toyodiy.com, it will fit any EUR EP91 with Airbag. Don't know about a JP EP91 like a Glanza, or a 4wd.
