Rear Brake Caliper Paint

Recommended Posts

As the rears are looking a bit tired, purely for aesthetics I thought when I fit the new discs this weekend I'll spruce up the calipers a little...

Bearing in mind the rears only see 15% of the total braking what sort of temps will they get up to? I say this because I have some high temp 650deg paint in the shed I can use :D

I'm doubting it'll get that hot tbh.

For mine I used a specialist brake caliper kit to do them. I would say that would be more than enough but you will need to make sure the paint will stick to the caliper otherwise its just going to flake off.
