Glanza-V-Gazzz Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 something keeps draing the power car keeps trying to cut out but its ticking over high and the turbo timer keeps flashing with problems and kicks the alarm in so you carnt start it, any ideas??? Quote
Socks Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Right few different issues here...Ticking Over high could be a simple idle adjustment. If something is draining the battery, it could be somthing aftermarket hasnt been wired in properly or somthing has failed...Has it just started doing it ou the blue? Slowly got worse? Quote
Glanza-V-Gazzz Posted November 3, 2012 Author Posted November 3, 2012 Dont really knw this is the second time in a week but only had the car 2 weeks Quote
mattyD Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 (edited) So you wouldn't know if the battery kept being run flat from the previous owner? I used to have a sub in my starlet ages ago and I kept leaving the stereo on without the engine running which in turn drained the bettery to the point it would keep no charge, even ran out on me when driving through town and my car just cut out..... 5T4R7ET N/A Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 the chances are that the battery is knackered, once they have been flat too many times they wont hold charge properly again. with winter kicking in I would just invest in a new one. Quote
