GT seats moving on rails..

Just wondering if its a common problem on them? Don't know if it's because there in a starlet.

Basicly the whole right side rail moves allowing the chair to wobble, drivers side is worse than the passenger but there both doing the same thing and have been for months and months, just dot like the seats moving in my car the bottom of the rail is fixed completely, just the top moves on the bottom if you get me.

If its happened to other people is it an easy fix or is it just wear and tear? I want buckets at one point anyway. Thanks in advance

Sounds odd Dave, mine have been fine for over 2 years.

Yeah they've been like them since I fitted them, it's like each rail on each seat is free to move, and the only thing stopping it is the other rail that controless it being slid back and forth, so I'm wondering if its a simple fix if there both like it

Mine are like this but not had a chance to look at it yet

Will take them out at the weekend and have a look

I had a look before and ended up snapping a head of one of the bolts haha so I'm too scared to try anything else

mine are the same bu ive taken it out n tightened them all bu i still had a loose felling in them ??

would be nice to fix them tho lol or brides ftw lol

yeah i would love brides too!

yeah theres so annoying like when youre driving without a passanger you can see the seat wobble a little bit its soo annoying haha. and when you can feel yours moving when youre accelarating and braking sharply so i would like to fix them, at least i know im not on my own! haha

I had this in my old GT on the passenger side. Failed the MOT on it when I looked at it couldn't see no real way of tightening it up. All I done was got a big pair of grips and squeezed the rail together. That sorted mine out.

It must be all the action that starlet lads get, only explanation for wobbly seats.
