knocking noise

i have a knocking that i can feel through the floor pan, gets faster as you speed up and slower as you slow down, so its deffinatly speed related. if i dip the clutch it dosnt make a difference.

i have changed the gear box and driveshafts to no avail.

on the day the knocking started id had the rear tyre changed.

knocking started off fairly quiet.. but has got louder over time.

suggestions? i am STUMPED and its starting to get expensive

Can you feel the knock more than hear hear it? Is your steering wheel vibrating? Have you tried 2 diff wheels on the front to make sure its not the wheels or tyres?

Bearings or wheel weight has been fitted inside the tyre??? You may laugh but I had this hours to find

So it just sounds like a blatant knock on the floor well? Have you checked all your engine and gearbox mounts are tight?

My wheels are straight arnt they Dave he has Polly engine mounts bud

Just for reference if anyone else has this problem.. Collapsed wheel bearing. Was causing sn eliptical movement in the hub which is what made the knocking noise..

Could be your diff mate im having exact problem i have a lot of play in mime

^^ was a collapsed wheel bearing..i blaim pot holes.
