Dry carbon bonnet... Oomf

Wait until my new website is launched and have a look at the Evo 4-6 full dry carbon dashboard coming in at a weight of 1.5kg. :shok: That dash is an absolute work of art. Then there is the Evo 5-6 bonnet coming in at a weight of 2.6kg.

I know they're not for the Starlet but these items are a work of art.

I did'nt need to cover any hole with my spoiler just bolted straight on and that was it as far as I can remember not near the car to check now though. Crazy prices all the same :bad:

Any chance you can check when possible?

Proper parts are proper money. it's not like they just copied the product and sold it on. they had to buy a demo car and design the products and so on.

You lot clearly don't appreciate good quality and workman ship.

whats the difference between dry carbon and normal carbon?

Dry carbon is basically pre pregnated carbon rather than using a wet lay process, this makes it much lighter. On bonnets the frame is usually made from carbon rather than metal which saves a lot of weight.

I agree, the originals will always cost a lot. I must say though that I was pretty shocked when I worked out the prices.

Nah we all just buy copies it seems. And no fucking wonder when you see the cost of those ^

LOL!!!

It's different things for different people though fella.

Its not that we dont appreciate good quality and workman ship.

We just dont like getting bent over and shaftted! Once you have a mould made up every other bonnet, spoiler bumper is copied from that mould! If there was a limited edition where there was like only 5made or so then i could understand paying top dollor but they arnt they are all copied from the same mould and mass made!

They would sell a hell of alot more if the prices where reasonable and they would make more money because they would sell more!

Ano man, not at all doubting they are good products but gen items are rare for a reason, and hey, if i had a spare 4.5 grand + bodyshop fees to spend on a full gen varis kit then i would, problem is it wouldn't fit my GT....
