Revs At 60

Just finished my manual conversion and was wondering how many revs do your cars do at 60mph as I think I have been sold a 4efe box!!!

is the end cap steel or alloy?

steel on a 4efe, all alloy on a 4efte

The 4EFE box has a pressed tin black end cap opposite end to the bell housing and the 4efte has a cast alloy end cap

not sure but at 60 it's nearly at 3k revs. The autobox was just under 2.5k

3000rpm at 60mph is about right!

ok cool just a fair bit higher than the auto. Just checked the box and yeah it is all alloy.

Yea manuals tend to rev more than autos, both my cars are around the 60mph at 3k. General rule of thumb is 20mph for every 1000rpm for a standard box
