Right guys!

I am looking at making a false floor for my glanza just dont know where to start or how to go round measuring it! I have seen a few people who have done it and id like to know how did you get the measurements?

Also where to get carpet and maybe some foam underlay to stop the wood rubbing?

Any ideas / pics / guides would be perfect!

Cheers

Josh

if u look WAAAAAYYYY back through my build thread u will see the process that Pandamonium and I used to make mine.

basically, sound deadening, big bit of MDF with a hole in it in the right place for the sub and smaller holes for the amp wires, fibre glassed down, smaller pieces to fill the sides, then PVA'd Autoleads Audio Carpet on top of the wood, and job done.

the foam and the glue is from a saddler

I want a strong false floor in the GT so I can use the boot (spare is gone) but I want it to be light hmm

Mines quite light but it can take my weight haha it's just thinish chipboard strengthened with timber underneath lol
