Dan_Henderson Posted December 7, 2012 Share Posted December 7, 2012 hi lads I've taken out the old radio and stared puttin in the new 1, i didnt have a harness so I've chopped off he plugs and soldered them together but i dont seem to be getting a live at the blue wire with yellow stripe and cant get the radio to work, all fuses seem ok, I've used grey(ignition) to Red , blue and yellow to yellow and black to black and radio wont power up Quote Link to post Share on other sites

_shaun_ Posted December 10, 2012 Share Posted December 10, 2012 the lesson here would be do it properly the first time and dont try pikey it.do you no for a fact the radio works? is it a brand new unit and have you choped the plugs off that aswell?the best way would be to just colour match all the wires and solder the plugs on and do it properly.
