ash.ds Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Hi GuysJust wondering if anyone has made use of the PIPER cams for the starlet motor/>http://www.pipercams.co.uk/pipercams/www/product_nav.php?type=C&cat=CM&man=25&engine=325they seem to be well priced for 220 poundshave a look and lets discuss Quote
ryan lang Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 no idea these even existed really well priced Quote
Flaminsam Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 These are re-profiled cams I believe. I think you have to send your cams to them to be re-ground with a different profile. Also it says the customer must source or manufacture their own shims to fit the tappets. Quote
turbo Grant Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I've got a couple of custom shim kits for regrinds. Might get another set of cams Quote
Bean Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 that price is minus vat so their £265.20 including vat then postage too. Quote
Danb Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 as above they are regrings, and will need shims making up to fit- ends up being a lengthy and costly process! Quote
