Skimmy237
Yet another question from me haha !I'm getting a bucket seat for my Christmas (late present) and can I just get the omp, sparco subframe and bolt them into where the starlets seat rails bolt ? Like through the ground ?Cheers
daniel_g
Has it got an ep91 specific subframe / rail ?
Skimmy237
The bucket seat ? Na I'm going to the autos port show to buy one but the omp rails are universal and it makes the seat unmovable ? Like not adjustable but wiill the subframe a fit the bolts that are in the holes of the starlet ?
Liam_D
You'll need a starlet specific subframe that bolts to the floor and then custom side mounts making to bolt Upto that subframe. Also it has to move for MOT purposes now, so you'll have to make it slide backwards and forwards.
Flaminsam
I just made some up for my seats and charls recaros this weekend. Modified the Evo 4 rails that came with the seats. Just welded starlet feet on the rails.

As I'm going to the autosport show on Friday so need to get everything there ?Did you need to drill any holes in the floor or anything ?Nope and i cant get any as its ony my old glanza that sold.basically, pick whichever is suitable for your seat/>http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/seat-mounting-framesi went for/>http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/seat-mounting-frames/recaro-double-locking-runnersthen take the standard seat out, take the seat off the rail.flip the rail over, drill out the rivets/spot welds holding the feet on the rails.using nuts and bolts, bolt the feet to the new rails.when you hold it in the car its obvious which holes you use.IIRC i had to drill out to extend one hole.think thats it. or how it was for me atleast
