turbo Grant
Yer machined the p/s pulley off. On my old GT I had a stock bottom pulley with trigger wheel on, ill get some pics of that later if you want to see how I done mine. If you machine the toothed wheel like in the pictures you get a nice fitting aligned wheel Edited January 30, 2013 by turbo Grant
Azz
Looks simple enough to even put one on the outside of a stock pulley, then mount The sensor to the body next to it
turbo Grant
I've put one on a stock pulley, ill dig it out and get some pics need to be perfectly aligned as you only have about a 1/2mm gap between sensor and wheel
Azz
I was just thinking about space, there can't be much once its all it ! As to the plugs for the sparks do they get wired direct to the ecu ?
AdamB
Yes mate you'll need to wire them to the ecu, if using sequential ignition which you will be, they will have to be wired into 4 seperate igntition outputs.
Azz
Take my hat off to you gents, massive help !
turbo Grant
It is a bit tight with the p/s pulley on but it does fit in ok
Bean
i think if your going to the hassle of a new ecu best to use new sensor instead of the old stock ones. my trigger wheel is mounted onto one of the light weight alloy ones on the outside. the pulley was drilled and tapped on a milling machine to get it aligned spot on then a boss is bolted onto the pulley then that is drilled and tapped again for the trigger wheel. then its all fitted nice. this needs to be done right no botches as if your trigger wheel is off slightly, or your crank sensor falls off or moves. you wont be going far lol.
