GrantM123 Posted March 28, 2013 Author Posted March 28, 2013 The reason for selling is I have enjoyed every minute of owning the car, to be honest I ask myself the same question but as the engine is only a small 1.3 ( which is quite quick) I'm kind of running out of ideas to do to it, as I'm not really convinced with a glanza conversion even though its possible I wouldn't know where that would stand me with insurance, I have been driving 4 years have two years no claims now but I did have a crash in my first year which up until now restricting me on car engine sizes etc. hope this answered your question ;) Quote

GrantM123 Posted March 28, 2013 Author Posted March 28, 2013 My car has some subtle mods on it ATM, corolla manifold, de-cat to a 2.5" powerflow back box, the red magnacor ht leads and iridium plugs, it does have a 4-1 manifold but it to sure if its standard? Quote

daniel_g Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Yeah, got it off here for very cheap. Made my cash back selling few bits off it. But obviously had to spend a fair bit on parts, engine, gearbox etc. huge list... Quote

daniel_g Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Yes buddy, not much more than a shell haha. That could have been a decent buy price dependant, syncros commonly go in starlet gearboxs, to rebuild a box is around 500 quid or pick up a 2nd hand box for 150 ish quid and hope its ok lol. Quote
