Firstly the gearlinkage shat itself Then there was a air leak - Whistling noise when revving.. Now the car doesnt want to start!! Battery is fine, however doesnt fire up.. When i turn the key I can hear a little click from a purple fusing looking from the fuse box Starter motor???? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Taggy Posted April 22, 2013 Share Posted April 22, 2013 This happned to my car at JAE last year, one of the terminal wires came off the battery and the solonoid would click but the starter motor wouldnt turn over. g14nza Posted April 23, 2013 Share Posted April 23, 2013 I've just been through this exact same problem after putting my new engine in basically you've got a earth problem your starter ain't gettin 1 by the sounds of it so link up a bit of cable from the negative on the battery to the outer case of the starter and try it then hope it helps Quote Link to post Share on other sites
