HKS engine oil 10w 45

Recommended Posts

i personaly would never run fully synthetics in our engines as they are old technology. semi synth all the way. mobil 1 10w-40. perfect in my forged lump for 10k dude and its still mint insside! just think fully is a bit to thin realy given the abuse these engines get. the idea is to coat and lube no just be realy thin so it moves through the system quick. this is just my opinion though. however a good few tuners of the past agreed that semi was the one to use.

Ive been using fully synthetic on my forged lump for approx 12k miles and not had any issues yet. That's what my tuner recommended.

Just wondering if anyone else has used this stuff.

Depends how the engine was built, using todays technology you can run much tighter oil clearences, giving you the opportunity use a fully synth oil. Best to ask the engine builder what they would prefer you use.
