Hello haven't been on here long just got me first Glanza few months ago

I can get a gear box and a ducktail spolier for 160pound what yous think? Thought I would ask

Genuine duck tails go for about £100

Gearbox go for around £100 £150 so yeah its not badly price

How can you tell its a Genuine ducktails mate

No mate lol. The quoted bit would be getting ripped off.



£160 is a fair price obv dependant on condition.



If the gearbox is a refurb in as new condition then yeah its worth about what micky quoted around the £100 -150 mark.



If the ducktails genuine and in perfect condition its worth around 90ish.

Im not 100% but quality will be a big give away there may be markings on it also which indicate that it is a toyota part.



If its off the car then try just engage a little bit of methodical thinking and you should be able to work out if its genuine or a rep.

As said above, in below the ducktail there should be toyota stamped into it :) for a reconditioned box and a ducktail thats a fair price i think!
