Why are you messing around with compression of the spring to lower them?

Will the shock screw/wind down any lower or is it bottoming out? As this was what the issue was originally with them, that the shock is bottoming out and wont go any lower, and the only way to get them lower is to alter the preload and slacken the spring off to get them to sit lower.

I think you are mis-understanding what I am saying?

I slackened all the collars off so everything could move. I then adjusted the top collar so it was literally holding the spring in place, the spring is not compressed at all and wasn't touched to lower the car.

The last pic above the car is lowered by winding the shock in, again not touching the springs, it has another 20mm or so available to be wound in before all collars are touching.

Does that make sense?

Yes :) with you saying that you adjusted preload - i thought like james had told 2 previous people to use this to lower the car as the shock wouldnt wind down low enough to get the car lower.

So these ones have the revised rear shocks so the car can go lower - As i know several people were wary as to if these would be amended.

For £400 they are a bargain!
