And this is with 2/3rd's of a bottle of break in/slip additive but it made no difference.Tight left corner 1st or 2nd gearhttp://youtu.be/LD7ycptXi0o2nd gear left right switching http://youtu.be/6aJpy6fHMYg Edited June 29, 2013 by morgey
jayc-glanza17
mine sounds like that, but not as bad. only does it like 1st gear 5mph or less..it sounds like your LSD maybe well work and needs the clutch plates inspecting and replacing.

Rob H@RCH Engineering
The redline oil is much better than the motul stuff, I had the motul stuff in mine this time when I had the cusco diff and it was horrid compared to what it was with the redline oil. Redline oil and the friction modifier is the way to go with the cusco diff!!!
AdamB
I've heard that clutch type LSD's should be rebuilt every race season, so your probably looking at like 3000 miles including practises, qualifiying and race day. For road use its probably more like 20k miles, but if the diff is second hand you don't know how its been treated or how long its been used for.
TurboTobz
Love that sound! That's how mine sounded
jakeep82
How much would you look to pay for a cusco LSD box In a decent box ?
TurboTobz
£550 area I see them at recently I believe but LSD alone can fetch a pretty penny aswell. Depends if it's a private sale though Edited June 29, 2013 by TurboTobz

TurboTobz
I much prefer them to oem, no hassle of finding LSD gbox mounts and LSD gbox shafts and they sound amazing
morgey
They sound horrible, if you want a good LSD get an oem levin LSD within 80-90% of the cusco's for cornering without any of the noise or harshness. If your car is daily i wouldnt get a cusco diff. Just my 2p
