Matt ep91 glanza
this is my latest glanza, i bought it a couple of months ago from a guy in leicester. The car was in great condition with a few little marks but these are too be expected. The interior of the car is immaculate and came with the optional extra floor mats, the car has very low mileage having done 58000 miles, it is currently still in km's. It came very standard, but had a few nice extras that had been fitted and looked quality, fortunately the car came with more extras intercooler hybrid turbo sard fuel pressure regualtor etc heres how the car looked when i first got ithttp://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/250_zpsde92f179.png.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/251_zpsea661a68.png.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/249_zps62f35d23.png.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/252_zpsa6450be9.png.html'> i decided that i wanted too change the wheels so i sold them on to a local starlet owner who also owns a black 98 spec. amazing how wheels can change a carhttp://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/021_zpsd8f05262.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/024_zps946b6e0f.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/025_zpsb468819f.jpg.html'> i had too put some old vw wheels on the car while i searched around for some alloys, luckily the car was still off the road at this point so no one saw these wheels on the car i wanted some rota type wheels, and i found a bargain on e bay, they werent rotas but the inovit versions and look just as good in my opinionhttp://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/047_zps0ef6e140.jpg.html'> next job on the list was too fit the hdi front mount on the car. http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/177_zps53083d2f.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/171_zps98199277.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/170_zps56371d04.jpg.html'> then we decided to re laquer the whole bonnet as th carbon weave was starting too come through, this took 8 coats of laquer, and still needs another 4 which will be done before jf2!!http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/196_zpsf6bcd313.jpg.html'>at the same time we did the rear bumper as this was a little faded and let the car down reallygave the exhasut a quick clean and polish at the same time toohttp://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/161_zps126aac52.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/160_zps5f70e98d.jpg.html'> To avoid cutting the original 98 bumper, i used one that had already been cut, it just needed some tlc and some fibre glass repairs too make it look better.i also decided too add an orginal livesports splitter this also needed repairing.http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/159_zps5093e500.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/158_zps51911bc8.jpg.html'>we had too take the bumper on and off at least 20 times just so the fit was perfect for the intercooler the finished producthttp://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/191_zpscfa27a89.jpg.html'>completely changed the front end of the cari had too put the number plate on temporary as i couldnt decide where too put ita quick photshoot of the carhttp://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/193_zps4d08ec4d.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/192_zps3cb8a69e.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/195_zps7aa3f6b8.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/197_zpsd23500a3.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/198_zps7e33f95e.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/196_zpsf6bcd313.jpg.html'> After this i finally got the car on the road, it currently has the hdi boost controller in so i ran it at a safe 0.6 bar with the option of putting it up to 1 bar of boost.next on the jobs to do list was too tidy up the engine bay and get an air filter re location kit.http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/248_zps5aebb5af.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/245_zps80adf539.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/244_zps27ed59e9.jpg.html'>i also re routed the boost controller so it was tucked away nice and kneat in the winghttp://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/243_zpsfa8f32ab.jpg.html'>the rocker was painted in 205 black along with the front strut bracehttp://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/246_zps7c7a24f6.jpg.html'>http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/trd91matt/media/black%20glanza/247_zps278bbfe2.jpg.html'> thats it so far, i have a fully refurbished hybrid ct9 too go on the car and the sard fuel pressure regulator, but i need a manifold before i bolt the turbo on.i think its coming along nicely, a varis rear bumper is also on the cards.
