Rev Signal Wire

Hey chaps,

I'm rigging up a shift light set up in my 98 Glanza, and was hoping there is someone out there who can give some advice.

Does anyone know which wire at the clocks is the rev signal wire? I'm aware of the IGN+ signal at the diagnostics plug, but was hoping there would be one a bit closer to home.

Mine connects to one of the wires on the ignitor/coil

Usually on the negative side of coil for rpm pick up

I tried taking it from the ECU for my fuel controller, but it was giving a mental signal

Ended up running a wire from the diagnostic port

Any one have a picture of where this wire is I need to tap into rpm or speed signal for my boost controller I'll do it at the diagnostics plug if I can locate the wire cheers nick
