Jim* Posted June 29, 2013 Share Posted June 29, 2013 So I've been having problems since my car blew up with getting it to boost properly, it sits at 0.2 bar until around 5k when it then hits standard 0.6 bar, but it should be hitting 0.6 bar a LOT sooner. So far I've replaced the actuator which didn't workI've checked for boost leaks and can't find one. BUT when my car blew up I popped the bonnet and my turbo was glowing red, but the engine had shot some of the rod out of the sump, which in turn made all of the oil piss out. could this of damaged my turbo and be making it not boost as it should? because it was left glowing with no oil going through it.
