dump Valve ---- Blow off Valve

My cousin is convinced that there is a difference between a dump valve and a blow off valve. i always thought it was the same kinda thing, just a different name.

Can someone shed some light???

no its just a case of semantics mate, no difference potato/potato

blow off valve = non chav term

the amount of chavs a hear say "es gota phaaaat dump valve on that white fing"... i have just always associated 'dump valve' as a slag chav term. i personally hate the term.

i tend to use bov altho i have used dump valve once or twice sorry Rich, ill don the burberry dunces cap!
