har-vey
hello all i have a little problem, when i'm on track and down changing i can sometimes hear the exhaust knock against the chassis leg. i know its the exhaust as i held the exhaust back with a bolt but now have a horrid vibration noise, (metal on metal lol but worked OK on the day) Now i expect its just because the rear exhaust mount has got old and need replacing but i was wondering if there are any poly mounts that are a direct fit? i see Powerflex have a range of universal ones, but was wondering if anyone knows which will fit. cheers in advance Steve
Spoon_tuned
normally the back box catches the rear beam so i got some silicone from an intercooler wrapped it round the beam and clamped it on no more knocking now
ryan lang
do you drive a GT or a glanza? as the backbox hangers are different. if you have a GT, the universal one like this will be fine: http://s588.photobucket.com/user/ryanlang/media/zorstbush_zps19e384b4.jpg.html'> they both need an extra hanger between the front ones near the arb and just before the rear beam IMO

Until I got my new RW system raised to prevent it.
daniel_g
I used jubilee clamps alongside the rubber mounts as a quick fix, it was totally solid after that.
har-vey
I've wrapped the beam in rubber as well but ideally I don't want it hitting anything, maybe another hanger is the answer
Liam_D
Dean at Rw developments made me an additional bracket/hanger at the top if the backbox to lift it up. Works an absolute treat ill try and get a picture
