sjbrowning7
Just purchased 4 brand new uniroyal rainsport 2's. Buzzing to see how these can perform and how long they can last. My Yokohama s drives on the front have probably lasted me 6 months, not ideal when I do a lot of driving. Decided to get 50 profiles instead of 45's so I'm hoping they sit well in the arches! sjbrowning7
Haha cheers man, in this country you need rain tyres. It's crazy going for ones that can only cope in the dry I feel. The s drives were brilliant tyres but they deteriorate far too quickly!
AdamB
Make sure you set the tyre pressures mate. I ran them on the rear of my GT with 30psi and going in a straight line it felt really light, but round corners they were pretty damn good.
daniel_g
You'll defo need them man, its total pishing down the now !!
sjbrowning7
Yeh I need tyres to go round the bends here. There's only a few straights around here but I'm sure they should be fine. What psi did you set them at? I normally go for 32 front and 30 back. I know dan, this weather is brutal lol Feart!
daniel_g
There best straights are round the hillfoots way and a good rip over the clackmannan bridge I normally go for 28 all round, they'll go up to 30+ during driving.
sjbrowning7
The carse can be pretty epic. Went flying along there one night at around 140. Sound, once the tyres arrive and get fitted I'll sort that out.
daniel_g
What up bridge of allan way ? Fuck that man lol. That M9 has a beast of a straight from the granada roundabout services up to the raploch. I had the GT waaaaay off the clocks there man lol.
sjbrowning7
Nah from the castle out to Kippen. A traffic police car left the road at 150mph on the carse. Ha I am too scared to do those speeds, it's far too bouncy and the front goes so light! Was going 120 from Callander to Stirling though, Ross was shitting it he said haha! Anyway, I should be safe enough with the new tyres!

Amjad
I've ran two sets of the 50s, great tyres but like you said the 45s look a lot better! Should have less sidewall flex too
