Flynn
I'm guessing my 98 SR doesnt have ABS on the rear brakes.....but im swaping the whole rear axle unit for a glanza one and im assuming they do? Is this going to be a problem?
AdamB
Not all models have ABS mate. If it does I believe they are on the rear discs as I've seen ABS and Non-ABS discs available. It won't do no harm, just leave the sensor unplugged as you won't have a module for it.
Flynn
The SR's got rear drums at the mo....and the rear beam i've got has the sensor but its cut off at the plug. Will i still need to get the ABS dedicated disks even though the sensor wont be connected? morgey
This is something id like to know actually.Mines the same but came with discs so never replaced them. I imagine it wouldnt matter and you could just buy the cheaper but best find out if they are specific?
AdamB
I don't think so, you can just use Non-ABS discs.

daniel_g
If its a Glanza beam then it will have the ABS wiring and if its a GT beam theres a slim chance as ABS was an option on them. If your beam has the sensors just rip them out and buy the NON ABS discs when you come to replace/buy them
Flynn
^^Theres the answer I was after^^ And cheers Adam I know you said the same.....
ryan lang
Doesn't matter which disc you use they all fit. The abs rears come with a little ring for the sensor to read off of, but it comes off anyway so just bash non abs discs on if your buying new You can unbolt the sensor with a 10mm socket and just use it without the sensor no need to have them dangling about doing nothing
